A Night to Remember: BASED SEA Builders Meetup Recap & What Comes Next

The energy is still fresh. The pitches were bold. And the movement? It's growing faster than ever. BASED SEA Builders Meetup – Episode 2 brought together another powerful crowd of founders, developers, investors, and community leaders to Bangkok for an evening of honest conversations and on-stage courage. And once again, Aiden Labs is proud to be helping lead it.

🔥 A Community That’s Actually Building

When we launched Episode 1, the goal was simple: to create a room where real builders could connect without filters or fluff. Episode 2 took that to another level.

On June 17th, the 7th floor of The Binary Holdings was buzzing again — not just with ideas, but with action. We saw:

  • Rapid-fire pitches from new and returning projects building across chains and sectors

  • 🎤 Candid commentary from community voices, VCs, and ecosystem leaders

  • 🔗 New partnerships forming over drinks and deep convos

  • 👥 A growing mix of devs, designers, students, founders, and product thinkers — all aligned by one thing: they're actually shipping

No overproduced panels. No polished buzzwords. Just builders, whiteboards, and bold questions about where Web3 in Southeast Asia is really going.

As one guest put it: "I’ve been to meetups where everyone’s selling. This felt like one where everyone’s building."

✨ Highlights from the Night

  • Pitch stage moments that weren’t just show but sparked real feedback and follow-ups

  • A fireside on what’s really hard about growing in Southeast Asia from hiring to funding to regulation

  • Great food, chill energy, and serious brainpower packed into a few short hours

  • And of course, the Aiden Labs crew making sure everything ran smooth behind the scenes

From Base ecosystem projects to fresh local ideas, we saw one theme again and again: people aren’t just exploring Web3 — they’re building the next layer of it.

🤝 Who made it possible?

We couldn’t have made this night happen without our co-hosts: Aiden Labs, The Binary Holdings, and APAC DAO — each playing a key role in shaping the experience, curating the space, and bringing the right people into the room.

A special shoutout goes to the projects that stepped up and pitched live: Liquify.ventures, Origo.fun, yields.digital, and Free to Joy. Whether they were testing early ideas or showing traction, each brought real energy to the mic.

🚀 So, What’s Next?

The energy doesn’t end here. In fact, it’s scaling. Up next in this growing series:

And Aiden Labs is proud to help lead that charge — not as a host, but as a co-builder alongside the community.

If you missed Episode 2 — don’t worry. The movement is still growing. You’ve still got time to join the wave.
